New Jersey Shares

The New Jersey Shares Program (NJS) may provide a one-time utility benefit to households that are over the income limits for LIHEAP and have also been denied by the TRUE program. NJS may be able to assist with bills from NJ American Water or referral to a NJ American Water discount program. Application for NJS must be made in person at one of the NJS agencies listed on the Internet at www.njshares.org. Households should call the agency for an appointment.
