What is Civic Engagement and Community Partnerships?
The Civic Engagement and Community Partnerships program within BCAP was launched in April 2019. The mission of the Civic Engagement and Community Partnerships program is to provide non-traditional resources and support to the non-traditional community. The focus is on mentoring underserved communities in the county like youth and men, providing job readiness, leadership workshops, and resources, as well as hosting community events that prompt civic engagement from the local community programs include:
- Mentoring workshops for youth
- Men’s Empowerment groups
- Job Readiness workshops and resources for youth
- Leadership and Entrepreneurship workshops
